 GRAPHENE MASK FEATURES

The mask features a graphene-infused filter as an extra layer of protection.

Graphene possesses powerful antiviral properties; studies show mono-layered sheets of graphene oxide physically puncture viruses before they can enter the body. The lightweight and thin profile of graphene allows for its surface chemistry to act as a natural hydrophobic filter, too. Virus-containing microdroplets literally roll off the surface of the mask. Read the white paper on our graphene filter.

Breathable

The hydrophobicity of graphene means it can blocks water droplets while still allowing for non-constricted airflow.

Safe

Our mask protects both the person wearing it and those around them, providing safety and peace-of-mind.

Sustainable

The mask and filter are both washable and reusable, making it a sustainable solution for the planet.

Review from Charles

“The Graphene Mask is by far the most advanced, comfortable, and breathable mask I have purchased during the COVID-19 Global Pandemic. It breathes incredibly well, even during extreme weather.”

SMART INSOLE

The first line of defense against diabetic foot ulcers.

Our smart insole system uses graphene’s sensing technology to detect foot ulcers before they form, a common cause of diabetes-related amputations. The insole is comfortable to wear, simple to use, and hidden from plain sight. Paired with a mobile app, users will continuously know the status of their foot health and can connect to a doctor or caregiver immediately when necessary.

INSOLE FEATURES

How the insole works

The insole is embedded with a multitude of graphene-printed sensors that can measure and detect differences in foot temperature and pressure — indicators of inflammation that could lead to debilitating foot ulcers and even amputation. As long as you’re wearing the insole, it’s continuously monitoring your foot health so you don’t have to.

24/7 monitoring

You can watch what the insole is detecting right on your smart phone with our simple app. If the formation of a diabetic foot ulcer is detected, you’ll automatically be notified so you and your doctor can take the appropriate action. Having continuous monitoring allows your own foot’s physiological signals to become a powerful line of defense against the development of a foot ulcer.

Clinical and tech collaboration

We work with a variety of partners, ranging from R&D partnerships to research graphene functionalities, to clinical collaboration to test the efficacy of our insole. Our insole partners include MetLife, W.L. Gore & Associates, NYU Langone, and the National Science Foundation.

Our work fits within the healthcare, wearables, technology, and chemical engineer industries, and we’re always interested in connecting with likeminded people and companies to see if there’s a way we can collaborate.

IN PRODUCTION

A smart compression shirt for every athlete.

Our team is currently developing a graphene-based electromyograph (EMG) fabric sensor to measure muscle activity and help prevent or diagnose injury. The sensor is printed on a compressive sleeve, turning an ordinary t-shirt into a powerful measurer of our biometrics.

Why compression? Compression clothing has major untapped potential as smart wearable technology. EMG, the study of electrical signals radiated from muscles with an invariable relation to muscle function, is an important and valuable diagnostic tool that can be integrated into smart compression clothing. As such, wearable clothing can enable the collection of signals from motor neurons along nerve fiber and across neuromuscular junctions. Our aim is to develop an innovative smart shirt that meets and solves current challenges for daily EMG monitoring and give every day consumers a close look into their body.
